Memorial Day 2012






Tomorrow is Memorial Day and an opportunity for us to recognize and thank those who have served and those who still serve our country. 





Station 95 would like to say Thank You to all who serve and protect us, and give a special thank you to our very own Firefighter Van Gelder, whom served in the United States Marine Corps and Firefighter Heglin, whom served in the Navy.

Moving On 5/10/12


 Station 95 would like to issue a thank you to Firefighter Negus for his time and dedication to our engine company. Firefighter Negus has recently completed paramedic training and will be moving back to his home state of California.


Firefighter Negus has one week left at our station.Thank you again Firefighter Negus for your service and we wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of a career in the fire service. You will always be part of the brotherhood of Fire Station 95.

Arson Prevention Week

Arson Prevention Week is May 6th-12th

Did you know 46% of all arson fires are started by people under the age of 18?

This year's theme -- "Prevent Youth Firesetting," encourages fire and emergency service departments, law enforcement, mental health, social services, schools and juvenile justice agencies to work together.

Fires started by children playing accounted for an average of 56,300 fires with associated losses of 110 civilian deaths, 880 civilian injuries, and $286 million in direct property damage per year between 2005 and 2009, according to the NFPA.

Recruit Graduation 2012-1

Tonight was the Region 9 Recruit Academy graduation for class 2012-1. We had 1 recruit in this class.
